How much does it cost to transport a caravan?

Transport costs depend upon the distance; please contact us for a quote.

Do I need to make any considerations for delivery?

Yes, static caravans are large objects and careful consideration needs to be taken for access. Low bridges, telephone poles, trees, walls and road widths are just some of the hazards that may prevent a successful delivery..

Can I buy one of your caravans on a pitch?

Our caravans are available without pitches, we can recommend local caravan sites that may agree to take on of our caravans onto their sites.

Will a caravan come with a landlords gas certificate?

No, the caravan will not have a current gas certificate as they need to be tested sited and once they are moved any previous certificate will be invalid.

It is essential that a competent Gas Safe registered engineer performs this check before any gas appliances are used. You can find a registered engineer here.
Please note, not all Gas Safe registered engineers can carry out work on caravans.

What type of gas does a caravan use?

Caravan use LPG gas, which is typically the red bottles.

Do you rent caravans?

We recommend a purchase and buy back scheme rather than rental. We will give you a price to buy back the caravan after a set term subject to condition. This often proves less costly than rental.

What connections does a caravan have for services?

Gas - Most vans have a regulator fitted and are ready to be connected after a safety check.
Electric - All vans are ready to connect to standard household 240v electrics.
The caravans will have either a 16A or 32A blue 3 pin plug ready to plug into a suitable socket.
Water - Water connections are standard 15mm copper pipe.
Waste - grey waste from showers and sinks is usually disposed via either 32mm or 40mm pipe. Solid waste outlets connect to 6” soil pipe.

How should caravans be sited?

The caravan should be supported under the axle so the wheels do not touch the ground and the corner steady’s lowered to support the corners with extra supports along the chassis as required.

What do I get in a caravan?

  • Caravans are fully furnished with lounge seating and dining areas.
  • Usually two or three bedrooms complete with beds and mattresses.
  • Caravans come with gas fired instantaneous water heaters which supply the

  • Most will have a gas fire in the lounge area.

  • Some models have electric panel heaters and central heating.
